Job roles & Responsibilities:

• Design of Steering and Suspension system components
• Installation of different pneumatic / Electrical components
• Pneumatic and electrical routing across chassis & Cabin
• Creation of Schematics
• Design of casting anchorages and heat shields
• Design of Sheet metal Complex brackets
• Work closely with supplier for development components.
• Engineering documentation of drawings and specifications.
• Documentation of solutions

Education, Skills and Experience:

• B.E – Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with Relevant experience (~3 – 10) Years)
• Hands on work experience in similar automotive- Steering / Brakes domain preferred
• Experience in passenger car vehicle industry will be an added advantage
• Good knowledge of application of GD&T

The key personal skills for this role are:

• Good knowledge on design of sheet metal brackets and casting component design.
• Design and installation of Steering & Suspension system
• Routing knowledge of pneumatic & electrical harnesses
• Extensive hands on experience in Catia V5 and TC softwares is mandatory
• Exposure to vehicle packaging and DMU mock up
• Design and installation of different mechanical components on chassis
• Familiar to different types of automotive aggregates preferred
• Strong in engineering fundamentals and its applications
• Good networking and interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication.
• Good team player and contributor in Cross Functional Teams
