“The key to life is accepting challenges as they come and overcome them with great determination and hard work.” Financial year 2020-21 was one of the most challenging times of the century. We together had accepted the challenges and overcame it to have a successful financial year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each one of the ASMites for standing by the company and contributing towards making it a successful year for the company and its stake holders.
As we being the New financial year, with great optimism and planning, I would like to put across a word of caution, that the pandemic is still not over and the challenges are not yet finished. Stay Vigilant, Stay Focused and be ready for the next set of challenges and as we all believe that with adversity comes opportunity.
The vaccination drive across the globe is going on successfully. Our HR team is working towards getting a corporate vaccination program arranged for all our ASMites at the earliest. I personally appeal to all my ASMites to take the vaccine as advised by the government from time to time and remember, that even after vaccinating, continue Sanitise, wear Mask and maintain Social distancing.
Last quarter we at ASM partnered with Lavelle Network Inc to created Centre of Excellence(CoE) for software defined networking, This deepens the existing relationship between the two companies, given that we are already partnered to build great software that is running some of the finest enterprises in the country and have delivered solutions together to drive customer success.
We are extremely thrilled with the setting up this CoE and I am confident that this will unlock huge value for our customers going forward. This gives ASM deeper insights into the SD-WAN space and in knowing how Enterprises & OEMs are adopting to SD-WAN and Edge Computing.
I believe that in post Covid world, there is no doubt that innovative, cost effective, secure as well as flexible digital networks are the need of the hour to solve customer problems across the world including key social issues like access to Education, and this CoE should go a long way in solving some of those and set new benchmarks of success.
This quarter also saw a lot of HR activity at ASM, the special one being celebration of Women’s day. I was overwhelmed by the idea of reaching out to all the women at ASM to celebrate this special day. It was even very touching to know about the response that our HR team received from most of the women. I also take this opportunity to wish all ASMites who celebrated their birthday and anniversaries last quarter with our team. Further it was nice to know that the team had a opportunity to learn on Wiring Harness Manufacturing Process from Mr. Asikabbas Sayyad, Stack up analysis with case studies on automotive components from Mr. Kiran Kakade and Overview of NVH Simulation for commercial Vehicles from Mr. Deepak Gondhalli & Mr. Vijesh Raghavan. These knowledge sharing meets, kept us all enlightened.
In our continuous endeavour to support athletes, we are proud to announce that Ms. Bhavani Devi has been qualified for the Tokyo Olympics 2021 under the support of Rahul Dravid Mentorship Program, our CSR initiative along with GoSports Foundation. Bhavani Devi is the first Indian fencer to qualify for the Olympics. It has been a pleasure to see her grow and thrive under the Rahul Dravid Athlete Mentorship Programme.
So over all a great quarter, going forward, I once again urge all ASMites to take good care of themselves and their families, stay safe and stay healthy.
